MARECO has been working with blue shark swim-with operators in the UK to develop unified guidelines and best practices for sustainable shark tourism. Each year, we host an annual workshop bringing together operators and stakeholders from the UK and Europe to discuss the season, research updates and make any modifications to the Code of Conduct. This Code of Conduct aims to maximise guest satisfaction, whilst ensuring guest safety and shark welfare.
