Sam is a marine conservationist, and has worked closely with manta rays and whale sharks in Indonesia and the Philippines respectively. He holds a BSc in Marine Biology in addition to a Masters in Marine Conservation. His passion to conserve pelagic elasmobranchs originated from blue shark cage diving trips out of Newquay at the age of 16, so the opportunity to work with MARECO to aid in the conservation of this local shark species is an exciting prospect.
